Code of Ethics of MDRT
 
  1. Always place the best interests of their clients above their own direct or indirect interests.
  2. Maintain the highest standards of professional competence and give the best possible advice to clients by seeking to maintain and improve professional knowledge, skills and competence.
  3. Hold in the strictest confidence and consider as privileged, all business and personal information pertaining to their clients' affairs.
  4. Make full and adequate disclosure of all facts necessary to enable their clients to make informed decisions.
  5. Maintain personal conduct which will reflect favorably on the life insurance industry and the Million Dollar Round Table.
  6. Determine that any replacement of a life insurance or financial product must be beneficial for the client.
  7. Abide by and conform to all provisions of the laws and regulations in the jurisdictions in which they do business.
History of MDRT
 
In 1927, 32 extraordinary life insurance producers. Each of whom had sold at least $ 1 million of life insurance that year, dreamed of an international forum dedicated to fostering a high standard, professional approach to life insurance sales and service. They believed that growth is a result of exchanging ideas. The concept was : " To receive individuals must give."
Out of this dream emerged the Million Dollar Round Table [MDRT], an international, independent association of apprx. 19,000 leading life insurance producers who represent over 400 insurance companies and more than 50 nations.
MDRT, a most positive influence in the life insurance industry, has developed a rich tradition of sharing knowledge for the benefit of clients, prospects, producers and companies.
The challenge to attain and maintain membership in MDRT is really an open invitation to all life insurance producers. The Million Dollar Round Table fills a special requirement sought by the many who join its ranks. That special requirement is sales and service excellence.
MDRT membership is converted career milestone. It indicates achievement and brings deserved recognition for the individual. For many, MDRT open the door to a new knowledge, motivation and professionalism.
